Vitamin & Mineral Assessment
The vitamins and minerals are important micronutrients that play a critical role in several physiological processes. Our practice will complete a full nutritional analysis of vitamin and mineral intake through a one-week dietary recall and nutrition focused physical exam (NPFE).
Depending on any concerns revealed through the intake process, we can order these labs to assess the vitamins and minerals in the blood or provide support for why we encourage your PCP to put in a lab order. If any levels come back low or high, the RD can guide you on food and supplemental recommendations, along with referring you to the PCP for collaboration of treatment.

Metabolic Testing
Metabolism & Cells: Analyze how fast or slow your metabolism is, determine optimal calorie intake for your goal, and measure how effectively your cells burn fats and carbohydrates at rest and during exercise. This information also reveals the risk for metabolic disorders such as Type II Diabetes.
Fat Burn & Recovery: Analyze how effectively your cells utilize oxygen, burn fat as a fuel source, and clear fatigue metabolites during exercise. This information is also used to determine the optimal macro intake during exercise. Heart & Lungs: Analyze your cardiovascular and lung fitness with gold standard accuracy and understand how these vital organs impact your health and wellbeing. Your lung fitness is evaluated through four distinct metrics that paint the most complete picture of how fit your lungs are and how well you utilize them. |
Your metabolism isn’t just the calories you burn. It’s all the vital functions your body runs to use oxygen and keep you alive. Indirect calorimetry, the gold standard and validated test used to measure Basal Metabolic Rate and VO2 max, scans them with clinical precision and finds the ones that pose a risk for your health and performance.

Hormonal Testing
Hot flashes. Struggles with weight. Mood shifts. Irregular periods. Miscarriages. Low libido. It is not secret that hormones play a role in our physical and mental health. Getting a clear picture of the various hormone levels can give guidance on nutritional recommendations that can help ease the pains of poor hormonal control.
Our RDN team can make recommendations and work alongside your primary care provider to order the right hormonal panels (via blood serum) at the right time, getting to the root cause.

Gut Check: GI-Map
Overwhelmingly, research indicates that gut health impacts overall health. The gut microbiome, in particular, plays a critical role in mediating the effects of diet and other factors on health, including digestive, immune, metabolic and neuroendocrine functions. Assessing GI health with the proper tools can help practitioners create a nutritional plan right for you.
